Trying a new weapon

It’s no secret that I have gained weight since being on the show. I have been working out regularly and eating sensibly, but I haven’t been getting the results I feel I should be getting. I’m not talking losses on the scale like I had when I was on The Biggest Loser. I don’t have the kind of time it takes to put in the 6 hours of working out everyday that it takes to lose double digits every week. I know exactly how to lose weight. I know how to lose it fast; I know how to lose it slow. I have done a relatively good job at keeping it off, but not as well as I would like. I have decided that I am going to try and use a new tool.

Today I got a package of CD’s entitled Enjoying Weight loss by Roberta Temes, Ph.D. These aren’t exercise CD’s or music discs. These discs are suppose to help me learn how to do self-hypnosis. I have used hypnosis before, in athletics, but haven’t given much thought to using them for dieting. This cd uses the latest weight loss research along with the hypnosis techniques in order to allow for effortless weight loss. We will see. I am going to commit to using this program as directed and see what happens. I am going to give my honest evaluation and share what is going on. I will be tracking my results, sharing thoughts and photos and telling you about whether hypnosis is or is not working for me and my new weight loss journey.
